Professor Laura Dorsey. is a key member of NJS Collective. Her main focus is sharing writing strategies for book manuscripts and magazine articles. She happens to also be an Amazon #1Best- selling author and ghostwriter. She specializes in taking your voice and the message that you want to convey and creating that written component that can be used in a publication, speeches, oral presentations and marketing and advertising. Dorsey is a retired educational professional and community liaison.
She is also a member of the Central Florida Association of Black Journalist (CFABJ) an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Laura is the Associate Editor and contributing writer for both IBA Success Magazine and ONYX Magazine as well as a contributing writer for Program Success Magazine. Dorsey believes in giving back and is very involved in the community.
She serves as board member and Vice President of the Southeast Region of the Infinite Scholars Program, Marketing Director for Clarita’s House Outreach Ministry BOD, Treasurer for Central Florida Diaper Bank BOD, and YEP (Youth Empowerment Project) BOD. Professor Dorsey’s academic and professional career has led her to become a sought-after speaker on a variety of subjects.
